TV play 'Biborton' on Banglavision

Biborton was on Banglavisions's slot of drama of week.

Written by Masum Shahriar and directed by Ziaul Zia, the play revolves around a married couple. The wife is docile by nature and the husband always pushes her to be more outgoing and spontaneous. Though reluctant initially, she too wants to change her sedate ways eventually and asks her vivacious younger sister for help. The sister, incidentally, has her share of melodrama going on regarding her love interest.

Drama of the week 'Phoring Bondhu' on Banglavision

Banglavision will telecast Phoring Bondhu on April 23, 2007 at 8:55 pm, in its drama of the week slot.

The play centres on Idris, a villager who moves to in search of livelihood. He contacts Shilu, his childhood friend. Shilu who now goes by the name Selina Rahman, is wife to rich businessman Zubaer Rahman. Seeing Idris at her office, Selina becomes a little perturbed but assures him that she would do something for him. Idris gets a job and the story unfolds.

Casting: Bijori Barkatullah, Arman Pervez Murad and Shoeb Islam.

Written by Azad Abul Kalam the play is directed by Ripon Nabi.

Dokkhinayon, a drama serial on BanglaVision, is the story of a father and the son, representing a generation gap. After the demise of the wife, Barrister Nazmul Ahsan quits his job and takes to travelling. He makes a stop in Australia where his son Kamrul Ahsan lives. The play unfolds around the subsequent tension between the father and the son. The drama serial is written and directed by Mamunur Rashid.

Mamunur Rashid, Dolly Zohur, Mahfuz Ahmed, Tomalika Kormokar, Chanchal Chowdhury and Nadia are the main cast members of the serial. Dokkhinayon is aired every Thursday at 8:10pm on Banglavision.
